Gallienus, 253-268. Antoninianus (Bronze, 20 mm, 2.16 g, 5 h), Rome, 260-261. GALLIENVS AVG Radiate bust of Gallienus to right, with slight drapery over his shoulders. Rev. VIRTVS AVG Mars standing left, his right foot set on helmet, holding globe in his right hand and spear in his left; in field to right, P. Cohen 1225 var. (no drapery). MIR 345c (no example recorded). RIC 317 var. (no drapery). Apparently unpublished. Struck from slightly worn dies, otherwise, very fine.
